The Church of Saint John the Baptist is one of the oldest churches in the Philippines. The Century-old Spanish Catholic Church is nestled within the predominantly Catholic town of Jimenez.

Meanwhile, the National Commission for the Culture and the Arts (NCCA) started the rehabilitation of the church.
